8[VM] Is there an external ring supply port in the shelf?
Ring signals are supplied to a VM shelf itself through a RGU, so there is no need to input a separate external ring signal. When you have to input an external ring signal inevitably, you can input an external ring signal through a “ring in” terminal at the top of power terminal behind the shelf. When inputting an external ring signal, the front RGU unit must be detached. Rings are supplied from the RGU in the shelf itself, so when inputting an external ring signal with a RGU installed, they can be overlapped to cause a trouble. |

7[FDSLII/III] Is a T1 class service possible with an E1 device?
When servicing E1 class equipment as a T1 class, compose an E1 class network with E1 equipment and then designate only 24 timeslots. Like this, when servicing E1/T1 equipment as a DS0 class, compose a network as E1 or T1 and designate only the timeslot suitable for the service speed. |

6[FDSLII/III] How much is the stabilized value of the S/N margin after line connection?
The range of the FDSL S/N Margin value is 0~24dB, so it can be connectable when it is more than 0dB, and it is disconnected when the margin value drops below 0dB. The actual service has a 23dB change due to the effect of line properties, temperature, air pressure, etc., so a stable service is possible in at least 6dB. |

5[FDSLII/III] What is the meaning of NEBE and FEBE in performance?
NEBE means a Near End Cross Talk. If NEBE is counted, it means that there occurs a cross talk in the reception side of the current local device. FEBE means a Far End Cross Talk. If FEBE is counted, it means that there occurs a cross talk in the reception side of the current remote device. Both NEBE and FEBE indicate that there occurs a cross talk, so if it occurs, check the line condition. |

4[FDSLII/III] The setting value was changed after the resetting of single power.

3[FDSLII/III, FMUX-12D, FMUX-24D] The remote RT device cannot be controlled at the COT.
If the single Operation Configuration > Control By Remote value is disabled, then it cannot be controlled remotely from COT. Change the Disable into Enable. However, if the Control By Remote item is enabled, then it can be controlled remotely, but the parameter setting cannot be changed in a single type. |

2[FDSLII/III, FMUX-12D, FMUX-24D] Loopback is automatically started during services.
There is a code loopback item in the setting of OT and RT Unit. When code loopback is enabled, the upper device sending a DELMONS Code for more than 5 seconds can cause LL or RL to our device. If you don’t want DELMONS Code Loopback, set the code loopback item for both COT and RT Unit to Disable. |

1[SOFT-2E1(FMUX-24)] Isn’t there any trouble to services when detaching an MCU Unit?
The MCU Unit is a Main Control Unit which only stores and controls the Slot Unit, but causes no trouble to services. You may also install and use the MCU that was installed in other shelves with power applied. However, installing an MCU and turning ON power with power turned OFF applies the information of the MCU on slots to each slot, so the information on slots can be all changed. |
