28[I-MUX] RT is not seen on the GUI when connecting the RT(060) DROP from 2STM1.


# How to connect the 060 RT from 2STM1

1. The default value of 2STM1 is set as UPLINK, so it is interlocked with the DCS,GaMUX,MSPP.
2. Check whether it is mapped to the relevant 2STM1 port when connecting it to our 060(RT).
3. Click the 2STM1 unit and then set it to DOWNLINK on the LINKDRIECTION window.
(It is not changed when mapped)

※ For your reference, I inform you that DDC communication is possible during DOWNLINK setting with our equipment, but impossible with another company’s equipment.
27[I-MUX] How should we set the Clock?


How to set the CLK
1. The unit in charge of CLK is TSI. The kinds of CLK include an independent clock(INT), a reception cascade clock(RCV), an external clock(EXT1,2), and a delay extraction clock (HOLDOVER).
2. When there is no clock source, use an independent clock(INT).
3. When an external DOT clock is accepted, up to 2 ea can be accepted to a TSI REAR terminal.
4. When accepting a DCS clock, set and use an individual dependent clock of 2STM1 port.
The dependent clock can be set up to RCV1~4 at the TSI.(switching concept)
5. The HOLDOVER clock is used by extracting a clock that was used before for 24 hours when there is a trouble to all the RCV clocks.

※For your reference, I inform you that the TSI has a hitless function, so there is no 0ms trouble when the unit is switched.
26[I-MUX] Why is the AUG Type in a COT 2STM1 unit not set as AU4?


# How to set a 2STM1 unit AUG Type


1. The 2STM1 unit is composed of 2 STM1 ports, so check the X-CON from the TSI unit.
2. The circuit acts in a mapped condition, so it is not changed into AU3-->AU4.
3. During the setting into AU4, the counter side transmits it to AU4 and the lower side transmits it to AU3.


※ For your reference, I inform you that all of the STM of the 2STM1 unit is changed during AU4 setting, so it is impossible to use the AUG terminals only individually.
25[I-MUX] Is there any troulbe in the circuit when detaching the MCU unit?


# COT(500) RT(020/060) included.
MCU is irrespective of the circuit during detachment and installation because it is a system control unit providing the OAM&P of all units.
The relevant information of MCU is saved during the detachment of a channel unit.
During the detachment of a MCU unit – Each unit saves the information value respectively.

 
24[I-MUX] How to back up Data?


1. Connect the equipment to the PC (CROSS CABLE) to control.
2. Click the MCU on the GUI and then select a control item window.
3. Press the database backup button, set the relevant designated folder, and then save it.

※ For your reference, I inform you that it is not backed up or returned when accommodating the dems or neos adm.
23[FMUX-12, SOFT-2E1] The Clock is automatically set to *INTERNAL.

*Internal is automatically changed from the existing clock setting value into *Internal when the LOS, LOF, AIS alarm takes place from the DSX(E1/T1) Port.
If the Alarm is cleared, it automatically returns to the existing setting value.
22[FMUX-12, SOFT-2E1] EXC Alarm is generated.

EXC is an abbreviation of Excessive, which is displayed when the error is more than 10-3. There occurred excessive errors from the DS1E or DS1 signals, so check the clock setting and line condition between pieces of the connected equipment.
21[I-MUX] How to set and check IP?


How to set the # COT(500) MCU IP

1. Detach the MCU.
2. Operate the DIP S/W1 in a direction in which a point is visible.
3. Connect the console(19200bps), enter ipcfg, write IP,S/N,G/W, and then enter Y.
4. Detach the MCU, operate it in a reverse order of DIP S/W1, and then install it.
# How to check an IP – The IP check command is rtrvip for MCU version 1.37 or higher and ifconfig -a for version 1.37 or lower.

# How to set and check a RT(060/020) MCU IP

1. Connect it to a PC at the Ethernet Port on the rear of MCU via a Cross Cable.
2. Execute the ip config(refer to the data room of the customer support team on our    homepage) program.
3. Press the overall search button on the left bottom so that the local ip address is the current equipment side ip.
4. When changing the IP, change the local ip address,s/n,g/w and then press only the Save button on the central bottom.
20[DS1(E) switch / DS3 switch] Not all the shelves connected after intra composition between shelves rise.

The intra initial value of the device is set as Slave.
Setting the MCU > INTRA M/S of the shelf connected to a PC as Master can normally operate the connected entire shelf.
19[DS1(E) switch / DS3 switch] Can AC power and DC power be used interchangeably?

AC power and DC power can be used interchangeably.
However, the power unit on the front should have 1 ea of both AC and DC.
